Information for exercise professionals

List your exercise program on the Active and Healthy Website

If you run exercise groups for people aged 50 years and over you can register your program on the NSW Health Active & Healthy website.

This website is designed to help older adults and health professionals find evidence-based physical activity and falls prevention programs across NSW.

Once registered you can add new programs and submit them to appear online.

Become a CHEGS leader

Community Health Education Groups (CHEGs) exercise classes are led by accredited and registered fitness instructors or exercise professionals. Leaders are self-employed and the Health Promotion Service provides leader training, support, marketing assistance and quality assurance for groups running in Northern NSW.

If you’d like to join a community of exercise leaders, passionate about delivering quality exercise programs for older adults, CHEGs is for you.
