What strategies were used?
This will involve the delivery of evidence-based smoking cessation care to pregnant Aboriginal women and their families during the pre-natal and post natal period. Free – voucher based nicotine replacement therapy for both the mother and cohabitant family members will be provided to assist with cessation. Clinical practice strategies will be implemented in Aboriginal Maternal Infant Health Services sites to embed smoking cessation care into routine clinical practice.
